L.A. Dodgers vs. Rockies
After taking last home stand off from blogging figured it was time to jump back in this series! I was at all 6 games of that train wreck that was the Brewers and Cardinals series, but did not take too many photos and just did not feel like posting for the games. The first game was against the Brewers and it was one of the most boring high scoring games I have ever seen the Rockies lost 13-10 the rest of the series wasn’t much better. The Rockies got swept by the by the Brewers losing the 2nd game 9-4 and got a little better in the 3rd only losing by 1 run 6-5. The Cardinals shut out the Rockies in the first game of that series 8-0, the Rockies took the second game 10-5 and lost the 3rd 9-6. In the 3rd game we saw the debut of Yohan Flande who did not pitch to bad but the bullpen as in many of these game let the game really get away.
Now that I feel caught up onto this game against the Dodgers….
Franklin Morales was back in the starting rotation after a few weeks working from the bullpen.
he started the game well by getting Dee Gordon to ground out and struck out Yaisel Puig. He did walk Hanley Ramirez and then struck out Adrian Gonzalez.
Zack Greinke started for the Dodgers and Struck out Charlie Blackmon to start the game and Drew Stubbs got a single. With Stubbs on base Justin Morneau struck out and troy Tulowitzki grounded out to end the inning.
The Dodgers got on the board first with a run in the 3rd inning a Adrian Gonzalez single scored Dee Gordon and the Dodgers took a 1-0 lead. They scored their second run in the 4th after Juan Uribe hit a 1 out single and advanced to third on a wild pitch, he scored on a A.J. Ellis sac fly to center.
The Rockies got a run back in the 5th with a mini 2 out rally. D.J. LeMahieu started with a double, which was followed by Josh Rutledge pinch hit double to score LeMahieu. With the score still 2 -1 in the 8th the Rockies tied the game, Charlie Blackmon started the inning with a single and scored with 1 out on a Justin Morneau triple. That run tied the game at 2.
With one out and Morneau on third the Rockies struggled to get the 3rd run in first Tulo popped out to short left that was to shallow to give Morneau and opportunity to score. Tulo watching his pop up high in the air! He is just so clutch!
Greinke then intentionally walked Corey Dickerson. That Brought up Nolan Arenado (This was his first game back from D.L.) who struck out to end the inning and a very good opportunity for the Rockies.
Franklin Morales pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits and 2 runs he struck out 4 and walked 2 batters. He pitched well and kept the Rockies in the game. Tommy Kahnle pitched the next 2 and only gave up 1 hit.
The game still tied at 2 in the 9th LaTroy Hawkins pitched for the Rockies he made 1 mistake and that was walking Matt Kemp to lead off the inning and that would result in the 3rd Dodgers run 2 batters later on a Uribe single. That was the final score as well and the Rockies lost this one. I was impressed that Franklin kept the Rockies in the game unfortunately it seems like if we get a pretty good start from a starter the team has trouble with run support. There was a big opportunity in the 8th and they failed to get a runner in with the middle of the line up that is just not a great formula to win games when you can’t get production out of some of the best hitters in the game.
After the game there were fireworks, I decided to head to the front of the stadium and take a few photos since I have taken photos in varies places inside the stadium and out I decided to go to the corner of 20th and Blake.
So that was it for this one. The Dodgers got the best of the Rockies in this 3-2 win. The Dodgers are in first place in the National league west and the Rockies are 12 games back and only 1/2 a game out of last place behind the Diamondbacks. Yes the Padres are now in front of them in the standings.
I think it is time to clean house 2007 was a freak and 7 seasons ago Dan O’Dowd is no longer a genius and is not the smartest man in baseball. Time to make changes!
That is it for this one see you at Coors I will be there most of the weekend and I will also be leaving for my 2014 road Trip at the end of this 10 game home stand. More info to follow on the Road Trip it will be a good one.
Diamondbacks vs. Rockies
My 25th game of the year at Coors.
Jordan Lyles started the game for the Rockies, after bringing Didi Gregorius to a full count he threw a fast ball that landed in the Rockies bullpen for a 1-0 Diamondbacks lead. The Diamondbacks would score 3 in the first. Then 1 in the 3rd. There are no photos of the first few innings because of the rain. I did not sit under a over hang but did pot the camera away. Lyle’s pitched 4 innings and Franklin Morales pitched the 5th and 6th. He was moved into the bullpen after not succeeding as a starter. He probably pitched better those 2 inning than in most of his starts. He helped offensively also in his 5th inning at bat, he walked to start the inning for the Rockies.
He advanced to second on a Charlie Blackmon infield single to short that was bobbled at second.
Corey Dickerson followed Blackmon with a single.
.Troy Tulowitzki actually got a clutch hit, a double that scored Morales and Blackmon to cut the D’backs lead to 4-2.
Blackmon slides into home for the Rockies second run after Maorales scored on the Tulo 5th. inning double.
Michael Cuddyer hit a blooper to shallow right field that scored Dickerson and Tulo to tie the game at 4.
Tulo slides into home and the play was reviewed but the call on the field stood and he was safe.
Tulo showing human emotion beside frustration!
Morales pitching in the 6th inn for the Rockies, He did give up a single but then the defense this inning was all courtesy of Blackmon in center field. The next 3 batters all flew out to him and the Rockies got out of the inning.
Boone Logan started the 7th inning for the Rockies and after striking out Gregourios and walking Gerrado Parra, Adam Ottavino came into to finish the inning for the Rockies, but not without a little damage when Parra scored on a Miguel Montero single to give the D’backs a 5-4 lead.
The Rockies had another productive inning in the 7th after Tulo lead-off the inning with a single this time he was out at home 5 batters later for the second out of the inning.
With 2 outs and a single by D.J. LeMahieu the Rockies would get 2 runs with Michael Cuddyer and Wilin Rosario scoring.
The Rockies would have a 8-5 lead.
Unfortunately Rex Brother came in and pitched the 8th inning and was a complete mess and this game turned into a complete train wreck in the inning Rex gave up 4 consecutive singles and then walked in the D’backs 7th run. After the walk Nick Masset came into the game and immediately gave up a double to Paul Goldschmidt to score the 2nd run of the inning. The D’backs got a total of 5 runs in the inning. If that was not bad enough Matt Belisle pitched the 9th and honestly he should be sitting next to Rex on the bus to the Springs. Once 2/3rds of the killer B’s, they are now the Rockies killer B’s. They are responsible for 10 runs combined this game, so yes that is 5 runs for the D’backs in the 9th inning as well and a 16-8 lead for the D’backs. The bullpen is more like bull Shit and I think there needs to be many changes if the Rockies ever want to win a game. I know they are burnt out because the starters can’t stay in games but we at least need guys to give the team a fighting chance, the offense give 2 4 run rallying inning and then the other team triples their score in 2 innings. It was great to see great baseball destroyed by a warn out bull pen. End of rant. So the final was 16-8 D’backs.
That is it for this one hopefully things will improve or this season my once again be a waist by the all-Star break. I know it is a long season but the hole this team is getting them selves into my be to deep to dig out of.
So that is it for this one. Not sure if there will be a post for the 3rd game of this series because I will be getting to the game about an hour late. I am hoping for a rain delay!!!!
Colorado Rockies @ Kansas City Royals
Kauffman Stadium, K.C., Missouri
My 18th game of the year
1st away game!
This was my first time to Kauffman driven by it many time on other road trips. I decided to go to this stadium because it is actually the closest stadium to Denver. The Rockies have not been there for a few years and will not be there for at least another 3 years. So we arrived at the stadium very early to get players and coaches arriving. It is a very good stadium to get away teams autographs. The players have to walk from the parking lot to a entrance about 100 or so feet away and also have to walk from the bus to entrance to the stadium. This day I was able to get Walt Weiss on a baseball card, Eric Young, Carlos Gonzalez and Franklin Morales on a 8×10.
After entering the stadium with the early bird tour I was able to get Nick Masset and Corey Dickerson on my team project so I figured I would then head out to the outfield to see if I could shag a baseball and I did I got a ball that bounce off the track threw the gate for the bullpen and up into my glove. The ball was hit by Cargo or Justin Morneau. While I was out in right field Nolan Arenado signed and Jared grabbed my team project and got him on it. Now I only need Troy Tulowitzki on it and Rene Lachman. I did not realize I needed Lach till earlier that day after he walked past me when he arrived. I did try getting him at the wall before going out to BP but did not get him.
While waiting by the dugout I saw this sitting on the rail of the dugout. It is Nolan Arenados with the Gold Rawlings patches on it, Because he was the Gold Glove 3rd baseman last year. The early bird ticket was O.K. but I thought there would be a little more to it then just being able to get in 1 hour earlier than the regular gate time. I thought it would be a stadium tour then go down to dugouts or BP before the gates open but basically it just brought you down to the dugout you chose and was able to stay behind that dugout.
The Rockies stretching before batting practice. It was cool to be in the stadium early because we very rarely see much of the Rockies warm up and batting practice at Coors. So before the game was a pretty productive because I got a bunch of autographs and a batting practice ball.
James Shields was the starting pitcher for the Royals. He started with a quick 1,2,3 inning against the top of the Rockies line up.
Franklin Morales started for the Rockies and Nori Aoki hit a lead off single. He then walked the third batter of the inning Billy Butler. The Rockies got out of the inning with a double play hit by Salvador Perez.
The Game was relatively un eventful and there was not much action the Royals scored a run in the first on a Alcides Escobar single that scored Johnny Giavotella. The Rockies did get a second double play in for the first 2 outs of the inning Alex Gordan at second He walked to lead off the inning) and Danny Valencia at first. Aoki ended the inning by flying out to center. The Royals took a 1-0 lead.
In the 4th the Rockies got a run by playing a little small ball Tulo scored on a Morneau single to get the Rockies run and tie the game. The Royals scored 2 more on a Lorenzo Cain home run to give the Royal a 3-1 lead.
In the 4th I decided to take a walk around the stadium. To get a few photos from a different vantage point and see the stadium. This is a photo of the Royals second home run of the game off Morales a solo shot to right by Salvador Perez in the 5th inning extending the Royals lead to 4-1
Alex Gordon stealing 2nd in the 5th inning. He walked after the Perez homer but did not score.
Between inning they put the fountains on and I was trying to capture this unique feature of this park.
I just could not get a photo really showing them the way I wanted but it is probably the most unique feature of the stadium a other wise it is a very basic design of 70’s architecture. It does have a mostly open concourse like Coors. In left field they do have the Royals Hall of Fame and around the stadium the do have a few things to do with the Royals history. Also the have 3 statues on the concourse one is of the Kauffman’s, the second Frank White and the third Geaorge Brett.
Shields pitching to Cory Dickerson in the 6th inning. Cory would strike out. Tulo would also strike out for the second out of the inning and Shields’ 1500 strike out of his career. He would also get 1501 in the inning striking out Cargo to end the inning.
Tommy Kahnle warming up in the bullpen in the 6th inning.
Kahnle came into pitch for Marales in the bottom of the 6th. Morales Pitched 5 innings, allowing 4 runs, 8 hits, 2 homeruns and walked 4 and lets just say Shields had more strike out in 1 at bat then Morales did all 5 innings! Kahnle would pitch a full 2 innings only allowing 1 runner a walk to Billy Butler in the 7th.
After 7 complete innings Shield was taken out of the game. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits striking out 8 Rockies batters. Wade Davis replaced him in the 8th. The Royals scored a 5th run in the 8th inning and taking a 5-1 lead. The run came on a Escobar fielder choice scoring Pedro Ciriaco.
Nolan Arenado argues the called strike out to end the game. The Umpire did have the most consistent strike zone this game and it looked very frustrating to the batters. The Royals pitching was very good but I think there should of been a few less called strike 3’s for them but when you are pitching well it shows you will get the call. But when Guys who are batting well over .300 and pretty much seeing beach balls being pitched it is hard to believe the are not seeing the ball well or not swinging at good pitches.
Well that is it for this one beside the score it was a good day at the ballpark.
Got another one from the K and then back to Coors on Friday night.
Mets vs. Rockies
Game 3 of series
My 15th Coors Game of the year.
Before the game Justin Mornea was awarded his watch for being the National League player of the week.
It was presented to him by the Rockies Hitting Coach Blake Doyle.
He was the second Rockies to get it this month, Charlie Blackmon won the earlier in the month of April.
Franklin Morales was the starting pitcher for the Rockies. He started the game with Juan Lagares flying out to left field. Then things started to get real ugly for him and the Rockies. Daniel Murphy hit a triple followed by a David Wright double, he walked Chris Young. By the time he got out of the first inning he faced 7 Mets batters and they scored 3 runs.
Jenrry Mejia started for the Mets he struck out Charlie Blackmon to start the inning. He then walked Drew Stubbs and Carlos Gonzalez flew out, Stubbs made a interesting third out and that was he ran to and past 2nd base on the Cargo fly out and after the catch by Chris Young in left field he ran back to first but was said that he never stepped back on second before returning to first and was doubled up at first base.
Neither the Mets or Rockies scored in the 2nd and both did not have a base runner. The Mets kept scoring in the 3rd. David Wright got his second hit of the game a single and then stole second base. Curtis Granderson hit a single followed by a Anthony Recker double his second hit of the game. The Mets got an additional 3 runs and had a 6 run lead.
They kept that 6 run lead till the 5th inning when the Rockies fought back with a huge inning lead by a Ryan Wheeler solo home run to start the inning.
After a series of single and walks Nolan Arenado came to the plate with bases loaded and proceeded to hit his 2nd Grand Slam of his career to give the Rockies a 8-6 lead. After Arenado’s homer the Mets replaced Meija with Daisuke Matsuzaka.
Arenado celebrates at home-plate with his teammates that were on base when he hit his home run.
In the 6th inning the Mets would score 2 runs with Chris Martin on the mound. Martin was replace with Rex Brothers after the first run scored on a Chris Young double. Rex gave up a single to Curtis Granderson to Score Young. The score was now 8-8.
The Rockies took the lead in the 7th inning on a Jordan Pacheco sac fly to center field and Tulo scored from third. Tulo got on base in the 7th with a single and it was his 1,000 hit of his career. So congrats to him. Even know I am not the biggest Tulo fan I do have to give credit when credit is due! This year he seems to finally be hitting timely and is performing the way the regular fans had expected him too for the last few years. This is probably the best start to the season he has in the past 3 or 4 years now lets hope he stays healthy and keeps it up before he gets traded to the Yankees!! Had to get a dig in somehow! The Rockies had a 9-8 lead at the end of the 7th.
on the same play Tulo scored on Corey Dickerson advanced to second in a close play after tagging up at first.
The Mets would tie the game in the 8th at 9 and take a 10-9 lead in the bottom of the 9th.
Then with Tulo on second after getting on base after his 1,001 hit of his career, Charley Culberson and his .111 batting avg. came in to pinch hit for the pitcher La Troy Hawkins. On the 1-2 count he took a 96 mph fast ball thrown by the Mets pitcher Kyle Farnsworth for a 2 run walk off home run it was awesome to see Charley come through with this huge homer for his first of the year. He was brought back up to the Rockies from the Springs because of Michael Cuddyer going on the disabled list. He was originally sent back to the Springs because he was not hitting for the first month of the season.
Charlie (Chuck Cobra) runs the base as the Coors crowd goes absolutely crazy after his home run.
I filled my card while he ran the bases and missed him stepping on home but got him as he came back to the 1st base side. Celebrating with Michael Cuddyer. La Troy Hawkins picks him up and carried him towards the dugout after getting him the win!
What a incredible game that looked like it was going to be a rough lose early and in true Coors fashion and the fight that this team has this year they won it 11-10.
What a great night of baseball
Tomorrow the Rockies will be facing the Mets for the 4th time and Jhoulys Chacin will make his 2014 debut as he come off the disabled list and the Rockies go for the series sweep. Unfortunately I will not be at this game because of scheduling issues at work and this will be the first Sunday game I have missed while in town in over 3 years. I do miss a Sunday game while on my road trip in the summer.
So that is it for this game.
I will be back at Coors for the 2 games Monday and Tuesday when the Texas Rangers are in town.
See you at Coors!!!
Giants vs. Rockies
Game 2 of series
My 11th Game at Coors
Last Year on this date the Rockies played the coldest game in MLB history against the Atlanta Braves. Today it was 72 degrees at first pitch.
This game started pretty well for me I found a Easter egg (Baseball) while walking into the pavilions and then caught a second during the Giants batting practice. I also got Carlos Gonzalez on my 2014 team project now I only need 4 players, Troy Tulowitzki, Corey Dickerson, Michael Cuddyer and Nolan Arenado. I also need 2 coaches EY and Blake Doyle.
Franklin Morales pitched this pitchers battle for the Rockies. He struck out the Giants first batter Angel Pagan. The Giants did get 1 runner and that was Buster Posey who hit a single.
Troy Tulowitzki got the first run o the game in the 4th a solo home run in the 4th. It is nice to see him hit a somewhat timely homer. Usually his homers are solo when we already have a lead!
Morales contributed offensively in the 4th as well getting on base on a Brandon Belt error at first.
In the 5th Hunter Pence did the same to get the Giants on the board and the game tied at 1.
Nolan Arenado then hit the third solo homer of the game in the 5th to lead off the 5th inning and the Rockies would take a 2-1 lead. This was a very low scoring game and there were a total of 17 hits by both teams but just the 3 runs so that is about hit for this one. Morales pitched well and kept working out of innings and preventing runners from scoring. Bumgarner pitched all 8 innings for the Giants the Rockies used 4 pitches, Ottavino and Brothers in the 8th and Hawkins in the 9th.
So that is it for this game, short sweet and a win can’t ask for anything more!
San Diego Padres Vs. Colorado Rockies
Spring Training 2014 Game 1
Salt River Fields At Talking Stick.
After Flying from Denver and arriving in Phoenix I headed straight to Salt River Fields. I headed over to the field where player were doing batting practice. I met up with EB and Smitty. I was also surprised to see Gary and Ophelia who I know from Coors. They are down here for the first time. Got a few autos on my 2014 team project which is a 16×20 of the outside of Coors. Jorge De La Rosa was the first person I got on it. Within minutes I had gotten 4 more player Chad Bettis, Jhoulys Chacin and Rex Brothers. After the player left the field we headed into the stadium after a batting practice in the stadium I got Justin Morneau, Charlie Blackmon, D.J. LeMahieu and Walt Weiss. So I had gotten 9 players on it. I also Got Eddie Butler and Jonathon Gray on baseballs thanks to EB because I left my case of baseballs in the car. Both of them in scripted them with first round draft pick.
This year I brought my Mom to spring training, it is the first time she has ever been to spring training.
While Jorge was signing autographs and noticed that Jorge had a bat that was in his bag and broken. So he ask what he was going to do with it and then asked if he wanted it and EB got the bat. Here he is inside the stadium taking a photograph of it.
So after getting some autographs out of the way it was time for some baseball!!! Franklin Morales started for the Rockies here he is throwing the first pitch to the Padres Evereth Cabrera. Cabrera swung at this first pitch and grounded out to second. The next batter Will Venable also took a swing at the first pitch and grounded back to Morales for 2 outs on 2 pitches. The 3rd batter of the inning Chris Denorphia swung at 3 pitches and missed to strike out it was a five pitch inning for Morales and I was impressed by the quick work he made in the inning.
The Rockies lead-off man Charlie Blackmon lined out to short and Michael Cuddyer grounded out to third for a quick 2 outs for the Rockies. Carlos Gonzalez hit a double and Troy “The Deuce Tulowitzki came through in the clutch and ……oh wait no he grounded out to second to end the inning.
After giving up 2 runs in the 2nd a home run by Ryan Jackson. The third a wild pitch by Morales scoring Rene Rivera from third.
So after the very good first inning and the really bad 2nd inning Morales was taken out of the game with the Rockies down 3-0
Gregg Burke would come into the game to finish the inning. He face Xavier Nady and got him to ground out on 1 pitch to end the inning.
After Tommy Kahnle pitched the 4th and Tyler Matzek pitched the 5th Matt Belisle pitched in the 6th inning.
While walking around we notice one time all time saves leader (601) Trevor Hoffman was in the S.D. Padres bullpen. So EB had a baseball signed and later on Smitty had him sign a Padres hat. I already got him at Coors a few years ago. He is now 2nd on the list to Mariano Rivera. The guy in 3rd is Lee Smith (478) who played for the Cubs.
Wilton Lopez pitching in the 7th inning for the Rockies.
The Rockies would give up 2 more runs in the 8th inning. The first when Rymer Liriano hit a double scoring Reymond Fuentes and the second when Kyle Blanks also hit a double scoring Liriano. (5-2) Padres. Brookes Brown was pitching the 8th for the Rockies.
Rosell Herrera playing short stop late in the game at short stop.
Yohan Flande pitching in the 9th inning for the Rockies.
That is it for day one of spring training next up I go and check out the Cubs new spring training facility in Mesa.
See you around!!!
Me and EB sending props to the Rockpile Ranter! Miss ya Brotha!

Cubs Vs. Rockies
Starting Pitchers: Jason Hammel for the Rockies, Casey Coleman for Da Cubs.
The crowd asking or screaming for baseball from Cubs players. Hunter just got one!
Today I had access to the front row did not catch anything once again not haveing a good year for snagin’. Hunter the D’s son has 4 more than me in 3 less game way to go. The catch is I can’t ask players for them I need to catch them on my owns as well as the rest of us adults that are having a rough year!
Ty Wiggington before the game heading out to the field.
Ian Stewart stretching or trying to audition for a medic alert commercial not sure. “My batting average has fall and I can’t get on base” after this game he was batting .080 2 for 25 in 11 games this season.
The Deuce catching a throw from Stewart.
Today was Dingers 17th birthday, So they celabrated it by spraying him silliy string in the pavilions and his father Dug was there to share in the celabration.
The Norad & US Northcom Leaving the field after the National Anthem.
An Here it is The BNW….
…to show off my mad photo skillzs!!!!
Took this as i was heading to my seat. For this game I sat up in the Rockpile with “D” and The lil’ Ranter Hunter.
Jason Hammel throwing the first pitch to the Cubs Shortstop Starlin Castro for a strike Castro would end up hitting a single, but Hammel would end up striking out 2 and getting a Darwin Barney to fly out. He pitch 22 pitches in the 1st. The Rox went down in order in the 1st with Dex striking out, Herrera flewout to center and Giambi grounded out to second.
Here is a look at Coors from the Rockpile.
The Cubs would score 1 run in the top of the 1st from a Alfonso Soriano double which scored Castro. The Rox would respond with 1 of their own. The deuce lead off with a triple, he then scored on a Seth Smith sac fly to center.
Cubs outfielder crashes into wall on the Deuces triple to the wall to lead of the second.
The Deuce heading to third with his stand up triple.
Jason Hammel pitching to Carlos Pena. After the 3rd it was time to wander a little so we headed to the concource to get some closer photos.
Seth Smith rounding first on his way to second for his lead off double in the 4th inning.
Ty Wiggington after the ball plunked him in the left elbow.
The Deuce throwing to Jason Giambi for a 6,2 ground out of Cubs Marlon Byrd.
The Cubs would score a run in the 5th and 6th inning. keeping the game well in reach for a Rockies comeback. In the 6th Hammel hit Ramirez to start off the inning, maybe a little pay back for Coleman hitting Wiggington in the 4th and Giambi in the 5th Hmmm. Or was it just an elaborate plan to get Pena to hit into a double play as he did. Then it was followed up by a Alfonso Soriano Solo HR . The Cubs now up 3-1.
Speaking of Byrd’s Dex come in for a landing at second for his lead off double in the bottom of the 5th inning. he would be strande there as the Rox scored no runs in the 5th.
In the seventh the Rox brought in Felipe Paulino who got (for the lack of a better explanation) shelled by the Cubs. He let up 4 hits including 3 run HR to Castro making the score 6-1 Cubs. He also walked Pinch hitter Blake Dewitt one batter before the homer. Not quite a stellar performance. Just to shake things up a little more they went to the bullpen once again and brought in Franklin Moraleswho let up 2 hits scoring 2 runner which was left on base by Paulino now 8-2 Cubs.
seth Smith can only watch the ball head to the Rox bullpen onSoriano’s solo HRin the 5th.
Chris Iannetta grounding out in the 6th.
Cubs third base coach Ivan De Jesus stops Koyie Hill at 3rd in the top of the 7th. Hill would be one of the 5 runs to score in the inning.
Kosuke Fukdome one of the coolest names in baseball hits a single in the 7th. he was the 9th batter that inning and the Rox faced 10.
The Rockies did score 2 in the 8th.on a Iannetta HR. That was all the runs the could get this game and they lost for only the 3rd time this season. Their record is now 11-3.
I first questioned the use of Paulino and Morales but then relized that the were saving the bullpen knowing that Alan Johnson would be making his MLB debut and starting the sunday game against the Cubs which they would need some of their stronger arms if he gets in trouble early in the game. Hammel went 6 innings letting up 3 runs 6 hits striking out 3.
Still one more game to go in this Cub Series and then the World Champ Giants come to Coors for a 3 days series.
Til Next time see you at Coors!!!!
