L.A. Dodgers Vs. Colorado Rockies
Coming directly from work I had sometime to kill before the gates opened at 4:30. I first headed down to the players entrance and not much was going on there. I than headed to the Rockpile entrance. It was about 45 minutes til the gate opened. After the gates opened I immediately ran up the steps and headed to the pavilions for BP. The Rockies were batting and not hitting much out. The Dodgers who usually have a good BP hit and about 6 baseballs were hit to the pavilions. So once again shut out on the day. I headed to the 1st base line and waited to dee who would sign and Jordan Pacheco and Tyler Colvin both signed did not get either to sign anything.
After warm up I stayed down the first baseline for first pitch.
Jeff Francis was the Rockies starting pitcher. He pitched very well. He pitched 5 scoreless innings. Letting up 4 hits 1 walk and striking out 6. He got himself out of the 5th inning after getting into trouble in the with one out and a runners on 2nd and 3rd got out of the inning striking out the next 2 batters.Beckett and Victorino.
Shane Victorino was the first batter Francis faced and he grounded out to Jonny Herrera. He threw to first for the first out of the game. Francis did let up one hit in the first and that was to Matt Kemp who was stranded after hitting a 2 out double.
Josh Beckett made his first start for the Dodgers since being traded from the Red Sox along with Adrian Gonzalez, Nick Punto and Carl Crawford for James Loney and 3 other players from the Dodgers organization. His first pitch to Tyler Colvin was a strike.
His second pitch was not as succesful, Colvin hit a home run to the second deck in right. He would than get the next 3 Rockies out in order including striking out Carlos Gonzalez and Wilin Rosario. Francis and Beckett both pitched well in the second. Francis allowed a base runner in the 3rd by walking Shan Victorino. The Rockies would have a bunch of base runners in the 3rd. Jonny Herrera would get on base aswell as Francis, Colvin and Pacheco none would score Herrera and Francis would both get out at second.
Herrera diving back to first while on base in the 3rd.
In the fourth inning I decided to head and visit some friends that were sitting down the third baseline. I did sit there the rest of the game. The Rockies did score a run after a Chris Nelson 2 out triple. He scored on a D.J. Lemahieu single. (2-0)The above photo is of is Don Mattingly taking Beckett out in the 6th inning. Nelson would score for the Rockies once again in the 6th. (3-0) Rockies.
D.J Lemahieu turns a double play hit by Matt Kemp to get out off the 8th.
Pacheco making the stretch to get Kemp at first.
The Rockies had a HUGE 8th inning. Charlie Blackmon who came in for Andrew Brown in right, Led off the inning flying out to left. Chris Nelson than hit a double he once again scored on a Lemahieu single. Nelson scored 3 times this game.
Matt Belise would attempt to contribute offensively by bunting but that just resulted into a strike out for the second out of the inning. That would not stop the Rockies from scoring 7 runs in the inning. They sent 11 batters to the plate. Tyler Colvin hit a triple to clear the bases and Wilin Rosario hit a home run scoring Cargo and himself. Cargo got on base after striking out swinging on a wild pitch.
Colvin making the turn from second heading to third for his triple.
Here he is reaching third.
Wilin taking a stroll around the bases after his Home run in the 8th. (10-0) Rox
The Rockies celebrate a big night at the plate. The bats were alive and Pitching was solid it was a great combination to shut down the Dodgers powerful line up. The Rockie used 4 pitches Francis starting, Josh Roenicke, Rex Brothers pitch in the 7th and continued for an out in the 8th and Matt Belise would close out the game pitching the end of the 8th and the 9th.
Way To go Rockies, this may be to little to late, but exciting baseball has returned to Coors. It is now being called Purple Magic by players. It has been a really good last few weeks for the Rockies at home and on the road. Hopefully this keeps going. They have 2 game remaining against the Dodgers this week.
They are 15 and 11 for the month of August.
That is it for this one.
See You At Coors!
Cincinnati Reds Vs Colorado Rockies
Cincinnati Reds first Place in the National League Central by 3 games the Rockies second worst team in the Major Leagues!
O.K. before I start about the day Just want to give a S/O to the Rock Nation Crew who on Aug. 4th will be holding an Equipment drive.
Here is the info.
O.K. as always on a Sunday I headed to Coors early. I met up with X, Rachel, Julie and the rest of the Sunday morning crew. The gates were a little earlier today because instead of autograph Sunday it was photo day. This is a fun day that you get to hang on the field and have some fun interacting with the players and coaches. So when the gates opened we headed to the field and decided to head out to left field. While we were waiting for the players we had some fun and took some photos.
Shortly after the players started heading out and we noticed Carlos Gonzalez and Wilin Rosario heading to the section to our right. So we went over to them.
Here is me with Wilin Rosario.
Carlos Gonzalez and I.
After Betancourt The Deuce was not far behind. Here is Gary X with Him.
Then I got to take a photo with him.
Which was kinda interesting because I have been one of his biggest critics over the last few years and have not always had the best experiences when meeting him.. He was actual not a Deuce today. He was pretty cool, took his time and sociable with the fans. Most asked how he was and when will he be returning to the line up. He is doing well and should be back in early September.
To the left is a photo of Bo McLaughlin The Rockies new Pitching Coach.
Carney Lansford and Rich Dauer. Hmm in this photo can you figure out who does not have a World Series ring!!
A and X with Big Jim Wright!
Josh Roenicke and Rex Brothers.
Brooklyn in Da house. Adam “No Sleep To Brooklyn” Ottavino, Adam grew up in Park Slope Brooklyn.
Matt Reynolds with the card that X made for him with a photo I took.
X and A with Jorge De La Rosa. I asked Jorge when I should be back from having Tommy John Surgery and he said soon it has been about 14 months or so since he had it he said he is feeling good and rehab is going well.
To the right Rockies first base coach Glenallen Hill.
Manager Jim Tracy.
I did get a bunch more but this post is long enough others were Jerry Weinstein, Andrew Brown, Carlos Torres, Mike Ekstrom and Josh Fields.
It was a fun day with the players. I think it is really cool that the Rockies do this and it is a lot of fun. I also want to thank Matt Belise and Drew Pomeranz for doing a running man!
Drew is the first player to actually do it twice he also did it at fan fest in January.
After photo day was over it was time to get down to the normal business of the day. The pitches came out and did their normal warm ups.
Here is Jorge De La Rosa throwing to trainer Keith Duggar.
Also got a few autos one was Jim Tracy on my photo I have been having everyone sign. Wilin Rosario on a card. Drew Pomeranz on a Tulsa pocket schedule I got on my road trip.
It was then time to play ball. The starter for the Rockies was Jonathan Sanchez. This was his Coors debut. He was recently acquired in a trade with the Royals for Jeremy Guthrie.
This is his first Coors field pitch to the Reds lead off batter Zack Cozart. Cozart would pop out to second for the first out of the game.
Sanchez would walk the second batter Drew Stubbs. Who would than steal second.
Brandon Phillips would single which scored Stubbs from second, also tried to steal second but was not as succesful as Stubbs. Sanchez would strike out Todd Frazier for the final out of the inning. (1-0) Reds
Dexter Fowler on his quest for his record all-time leader in triples for the Rockies lead off the inning by not accomplishing that record, but reached base by walking. Josh Rutledge batted second.
He would hit his second MLB home run and first one at Coors. He has been a great addition to this team in the past few weeks with and including this game he is batting .379 with 5 doubles, 2 triples and 2 home runs in 58 at bats. He also has 22 combined hits and 8 RBI’s. (2-1) Rockies
Michael Cuddyer would also reach base with some hard running and a rushed throw from Zack Cozart at short that…
… pulled Miguel Cairo off first.
The Reds started the 2nd off aggressively Chris Heisey hit a lead off triple he would score on a sac fly by Cairo to center and tied the game at 2.
I am going to try to make this one brief the Reds would than score a run in the 3rd. The Rockies would not produce in the third Cuddyer and Rutledge would both get hits but would not score. The starting pitcher for the Reds Matt Latos would sit the Rockies down in order in the 4th.
Jonathan Sanchez would get really roughed up in the 5th. Cozart lead off with a single Stubbs hit a 2 Run home run. (5-2) Reds 2 batters later Jay Bruce would hit a solo shot. ( 6-2) Reds. After that Sanchez was removed from the game by manager Jim Tracy.
Here he is leaving the mound.
Carlos Torres would come into pitch for the Rockies and would strike out the first 2 Reds he faced in the 5th to get out of the inning. he would pitch the complete 6th and 7th ining. Facing 9 Batters in his 2/3rd innings. Striking out 5 and only allowing 1 hit. The hit was a double by Ryan Hannigan.
Dex sent one for a ride in the 5th which looked like it may have gone out but fell short and was caught by Jay Bruce on the right field track.
Mike Ekstrom pitched the 8th for the Rockies he did not have a great outing but he did let up an additional run on 2 hits and a Rutledge error at short. (7-2) Reds
Matt Reynolds pitched the 9th for the Rockies Striking out 2 of the 4 batters he faced. He did let up one hit to Stubbs.
The Rockies would attempt a 2 out rally in the bottom of the 9th, After Andrew Brown would get a single when he pinch hit in the pitchers spot. Josh fields who was brought in a double switch in the 6th would hit a single. Dex then grounded out to end the game. The Reds won 7-2 and swept the Rockies this weekend. It looks like my days of seeing home team walk off wins have ended now that I am back home. It is just something we are getting use to at Coors. Well that is it for this one besides the Rockies loss it was a great day hanging at Coors today. Once again thanks to the players and coaches for having a photo day for the fans.
Here is a few others from our time on the field.
Mary O and Me.
Me waiting for my marker back that Jim Tracy was signing with.
Then these to girls had this sign that said show me how to Tulo. So read their definition!
O.K. so now my Tulo dig for the post yes I have to go there. I thought Tulo-ing would be when there is 1 out with 2 runners on and he pops out to the first base or third base line. Now I only say this because I have seen several time this year. Maybe after this injury things will turn around for him with him.
Well that’s it for this one I should be at Coors most of the week as they face the Cardinals and Giants in the next week.
I may also have a surprise post mid-week. Covering something I normally would not cover!
and remember I can be followed on twitter: @RoxAddict
Astros Vs Rockies
Game 4 of series
My 25th game of the season.
As always I headed to the Pavilions for batting practice not long after arriving I got a ball from Rockies. While the Astros batted I caught one leaning over the section divider rail. and not long after that a third, that was also a catch. The Second ball i ended up giving to a kid that was wearing a birthday cake hat. It was his sixth birthday. I believe his name was Philip. Hope He had an awesome birthday at Coors.
I did get a photo of him signing this fans Jersey. The funny thing is the next morning I saw someone posted the photo from the phone to the left on twitter.
Geoff had him sign a ball that he caught that Jordan fouled off.
Jeremy Guthrie throwing the first pitch to Jordan Schafer. Schafer and Jose Altuve both got out. The next 2 batters Jed Lowrie and Carlos Lee both hit singles before Chris Johnson flew out to Michael Cuddyer to end the first.
Jose Altuve being thrown out at first.
Bud Norris was the starting pitcher for the Astros. Dexter Fowler started the inning off right by walking. Dex once again has seemed to really gain patients at the plate and draws the walk aswell as hitting over .500 in this series.
Marco Scutaro followed up with a single. Once again Carlos Gonzalez came to the plate and for the 4th consecutive at bat he hit an HR.
Michael Cuddyer scoring on a Todd Helton 2B this was Heltons 562 career double. The Rockies scored 5 runs in the first. The Astros did score a run in the top of the second. (5-1)
This game I sat out in the pavilions in right field. I rarely sit out there it is always fun but doesn’t alway make for great photos. I always like the view from there before sunset. This is a view during Cuddyers at bat in the second. That is Dex diving back to the base.
Wilin Rosario scoring in the 2nd inning. He got on base with a single and stole second. Ok the Rockies scored 4 runs in the second. 1 in the 4th and 1 in the 6th.. the Astros scored 1 in the 2nd and 3 in the 4th. I somehow don’t have photos supporting the play in those innings.
Here is Guthrie still pitching in the 7th inning and this was only his 79th pitch. He did let up a fifth run. 10-5 Rox. That Ruined my original title for this game which would of been Ten Four over and out but well the fifth run ruined that. Guthrie finished the 7th and Matt Reynolds came in to pitch the 8th. Guthrie let up 12 hits, 5 runs and only stuck out 1. But it was a good performance for his since he has been having trouble pitching at Coors. Good thing he got some major run support. It is great seeing the offence get things going in this series.
Matt Reynolds pitched a great 8th striking out the sides.
Cuddyer catching a ball to end the 7th inning.
The Rockies head to the field from the dugout to celebrate the sweep!!!
The rest of the team gathers the 11-5 win by second base.
…and is the creative BNW for this post.
Break out the brooms it is a SWEEP!!!
That that is it for this great series. Now the Rockies take on the Dodgers and thing are looking good. Hint hint since I am writing this after game one of that series!!!
So thats it for th game.
Now I mentioned dex and friends earlier in the post. Dex and friends is a Radio show on 102.3 ESPN radio on Thursadys when the Rockies are in town at Jackson’s on 20th and Blake across from Coors. Dexter Fowler and another player answer questions in person and talk baseball and the Rockies it is pretty cool this was the third time I attended. The first the other player was Jeremy Guthrie and the second time it was Chris Nelson. Todays guest was Jordan Pacheco.
Here are a few photos from Dex and friends.
Mary and Amy where there. We all were a little late because we thought it started at 1P.M. but it started at 12P.M. This is cool because the players do sign some autographs and take photos I had the Photios from dexters walk od triple signed One of him at first with his fist in the air and another after he stopped at third and eveyone started charging at him. As well as the photo from his wens HR. All three photos can be seen on the previous 2 posts from those days.
Mary with Dex
Me and Jordan Pacheco.
It was a cool day at Dex and friends and a Great night at Coors.
I will be at Coors all weekend. So see ya there. Check back for the Dodgers game one post soon.
For now see you at Coors.
Also I would like to congratulate The N.Y. Mets Johan Santana on getting the first NO Hitter in the history of the N.Y. Mets.
D’Backs Vs. Rockies
Game 3 of series.
My 4th game of the year @ Coors, 5th including the Springs.
Today was also Jackie Robinson. This year marked the 65th Anniversary of becoming the first black player in the Major Leagues.
As with all Sundays at Coors it was autograph Sunday.
Today Juan Nicasio, Tyler Chatwood, Rex Brothers and Matt Reynolds signed.
I was able to get Tyler Chatwood on a Card and Rex Brothers on my default photo of Coors Field which is a photo from the upper deck of the sunset on the last game of the season last year.
Drew Pomeranz was the starting pitcher for the Rockies. This was his first start of the year. Drew did have a start in Tulsa on April 10. He went 4 innings striking out 4 and letting up no runs.
Pomeranz pitching to the Diamondbacks Ryan Roberts. Roberts and Gerado Parra both grounded out Justin Upton than hit a single and Michael Young hit an HR for a quick 2-0 lead for the D’backs.
Troy Tulowitzki makes one of his patent off-balance throws to first. Kids don’t try this at home. Maybe he is trying to do a running man!!!! I don’t know this just does not look comfortable to throw like that.
Chris Young touches home after his 2 run HR.
Drew Pomeranz pitches to Aaron Hill in the 1st. inning.
Eric Young Jr. grounding out in the 1st inning.
Here is a look from section 307.
I was going to walk aroung the whole concource but decided to head to my seat which I very rarly get to usually I walk the concource or hang with friends in other sections.
The Diamondbacks scored another run in the 3rd. for a 3-0 lead.
Pomeranz pitching in the 5th inning to one of his last batters. He was taken out with 1 out and I believe 2 runners on base.
Josh Roenicke warming up in the bullpen.
The D’backs did score to for a 5-0 lead.
Drew Pomeranz coming out of the game in the 5th. He threw 108 pitches 45 for strikes and 63 balls. Letting up 5 runs and 9 hits.
The rain started shortly after the pitching change so I headed down to the concource by the bullpen.
Matt Reynolds heading to the bullpen in the 8th inning. He struck out 2 in the inning and got the third to pop out to short.
Tulo Catching the pop up in the 8th inning.
After Chris Nelson struck out in the 8th. Jonny Herrera hit a double to start a Rockies mini rally. He and Eric Young Jr. both scored (5-2) D’backs. Tulo singled and Ramon Hernandez pitch hit in the pitchers spot which was 5th in the batting order after a double switch earlier in the game. The Rockies sent 9 batters to the plate in the ninth and it looked like there may be a little Lodo magic for the third game in a row but they fell a little short. The D’Backs used 4 pitches in the inning.
Michal Young being tossed out at first for the last run of the game. He was responsible for 3 of the 5 D’backs runs.
The final score was 5-2. The Rockies did win the Series taking the first 2. Hopefully last years Sundays whoa’s won’t carry over to this year and this game was a slight glitch not the start of a Sunday trend. The Rockies are 4 and 5 on the year. and currently 3rd in the N.L. west. 4.5 games back from the Dodgers who have had an amazing 9-1 start to the season. Looks like the owner ship change was good for them.
Starting Monday the Rockies will be playing the San Diego Padres. So we get to ask the question of where is Huston Street once again!!
I should be there for all 3.
See Ya at Coors.
Thanks for reading.

Rockies Fest 2012
For the 3rd year in a row I was fortunate to attend the Rockies Fan Fest. The Rockies Fan Fest is held every year in January. In the past it was only open to Colorado Rockies season ticket holders, this year they did have a season ticket holder Fan Fest and that was on Saturday. Sunday was an open to the public, which allowed the Rockies Fans that do not have season tickets to attend. The Rockies did charge to attend day 2, it was $25 for Adults and $1.00 for kids.
To start I would like to thank my friend Anna for giving me her ticket to Saturdays Fan Fest.
So Saturday started early the gates to Coors opened at 9:30, a few days before we decided to go out to breakfast. So we decide just like opening day last year to head to the 20th street cafe.
So Douglas the founder of Opening day Breakfast attended aswell as Hunter, and D The Rockpile Ranter.
Also Allanah X, Gary X and Amy
After Breakfast we headed to Coors where we were the first group on-line. So we left a few people in line and Gary X, Amy, Ranter and a few others headed over to the will call window, which was supposed to open at 9:00 AM at about 10 after someone told us that the will call windows will be windows a few feet away from where they normally are. OK but this was at 10 after and the windows were going to open at 9. Hmmm… see something weird happening here!!! Than around 9:20 the windows opened I was the second person on my line and the guy in front of me got his tickets in about 30 seconds. I get to the window and the first question I got asked was what is my season ticket ###. I replied I am using these tickets that were suppose to be mailed to the season ticket holder and were not so I was to pick these up from here. I told the gentleman at the window my name and oddly enough it came up on the computer saying my season ticket holders name and ticks for Me insert real name here Mike ……
So I got my tix so at the window next to me were Ranter, Gary X, Amy and Dan and they were told that this was not the Will call window and there tickets were at A gate. Which makes no sence what so ever considering the person in front of me got his and I was in the process of having my tickets printed. The Girl at their window said that the tix that were left for them are at Gate A. So than they headed over Gate A Dan did have 2 tickets on him which X and Lil X used to get in. So after other will call issues everyone did eventually get in for more on the craziness check out the Rockpile Rant.http://baseballsnatcher.mlblogs.com/.
So we immediately headed down to the memorabilia store that they set up down stairs on the same level as the Rockies Club House and Visitors club house. This year it was in the visitors club house. So I found some stuff to purchase. I got Aaron Cook’s locker sign and a signed ball. Ok you may ask why would I get Aaron Cook’s stuff considering he is no longer on the Rockies one is it was a good price, 2 I had never got a Aaron Cook autograph in my 4 years attending games at Coors. I had met him and taken photos with him on photo day but never was able to get an autograph. Than I also found some souvenir baseballs from 1993 Rockies home opener at the old Mile high and also a few coomerative base sticker. The ones on the side of the base’s I got a “We Will Not Forget” 9-11-200. Later Geoff gave me a Jackie Robinson day 2007 one that he bought an extra of. Thanks Geoff.
Than we headed over to The Rockies Club house. Here’s a few photo’s of lockers of player you may be familiar with!!!
We than headed to our respective event session. The first one I had tickets for an autograph session in suite 53. Jason Giambi and J.D. Lemahieu. I had an Upper Deck game used card signed. I got a Rockies press photo signed for D.J. since I did not have an Item for him to sign.
My second session was for an Interview session I like seeing the interview sessions. Usually they are kind of candid. The players in this session were D.J. Lemahieu, Dexter Fowler, Casey Blake, Jason Giambi and Troy Tulowitzki. Here are a few photos.
Casey Blake. Casey recently signed with the Rockies as a free agent he played with the Dodgers
Tom Helmer was asking the questions along with Tracey Ringolsby.
During the player introductions Helmer made the comment that “2/3% of the earth is covered by water the other 1/3 is covered by Dexter Fowler”
Dex was asked about player the huge center field area at Coors. They also talked about Dex working out with Tulo and Giambi this off-season. Dex has gained 9 lbs. in the off-season of muscle and cut his body fat from 14% which I think any of use would love to have to and even better 10%. They also spoke about Casey and D.J. joining the Rockies and how they could help the team and the benefits of D.J. competing for the second base job with EYJ and Jonny Herrera. Little that we all knew was the Rockies were in the process of acquiring Marco Scutaro from the Red Sox for 2nd base, which should make this even more interesting!
Dexter Fowler Answering questions.
After the Interview session I stayed on the club level and headed over to where the Rockie Prospects were.
Chad and Nolan Played with Modesto in 2011 and Rob Scahill played with the Tulsa Drillers.
While they were signing other prospects were also on the club level interacting with the fans.
Here is Christian Friedrich playing guitar hero.
Mary O with Jim Tracy. Mary is one of the ushers at Coors that I goy to know over the last year. She is also one of the reasons I can get some of the great photos I get.
During the day we had also had an autograph session with Todd Helton and Rich Dauer.
Towards the end of the day we headed down to the Rockies club house again and also took a peek inside Jim Tracy’s office.
That was pretty much the end of the day. In total I got 28 autographs from players at Fan Fest Including Casey Blake, Josh Roenicke, All the prospect players in the fanfest program, a ball from Nolan Arenado, cards signed by Tyler Matzek, Ramon Hernandez, Tyler Chatwood, Todd Helton and X got me signed promotion cards from Jason Hammel, Chris Nelson and Rafeal Bettancourt.
At the end of the day we headed down to the concourse and took this mass running man with Gary X, Amy, Lil X, Geoff and Douglas.
That was it for day 1.
Day 2 Rockies Fan Fest 2012.
I was not sure if I was going to the second day but X as alway’s looking out got me a ticket, knowing I would procrastinate picked up an extra ticket for me. Thanks X.
So before leaving my house I dubbed this day deuce of Rockies Fest. I than headed down to Coors. I was one of the first people to arrive at Coors and being a Sunday there was free street parking and it also being the baseball off-season there was free parking on Blake street. So I got a pretty good spot for a better spot they would have had to open the gates to the stadium for me to pull in!!!!
First spot next to the C gate!!!
So shortly after X and Amy arrived. Amy wearing her Jordan Pacheco Jersey that she got the day before.
The back of the Pacheco Jersey.
Pacheco also signed it for her.
Once again after the gates opened we headed to the Memorabilia sale which we figured would have new Items today and it did. I got a Red Rockies hat that they wear at home for special occasions Memorial Day, 4th of July ect. While I was trying to look at Sizes I notice #’s on the inside and found one with the #51 in it. Which is Matt Reynolds. So I picked it up. Also got some random pins from years past and 2 Rockies umbrella’s just because. So since I parked so far from the stadium I ran the stuff out to the car and it was time to head to our first auto session. It was for the Mountain Ranch Club and the first signer was Todd Helton, 2 Helton autos in one weekend that is twice as many as I got in the last 4 years. I had him sign a photo that I thought was the swing for his 500 double, But after I had him monograph it 500 2b realized it was a photo from my first game in 2009. So it was cool to get a Todd auto but was upset it was the wrong photo. It was cool of him to do that for me though. With Todd was Chris Nelsen was signing.
Todd Helton signing a card for Gary X.
We than headed to our next session, along the way we walked past Matt Reynolds, Jason Giambi who each gave us a high-five. We continued to suite 55 and found out that Carlos Gonzales was signing.
Cargo walking down the hall while we were online. I believe that is Josh Roenicke who also signed that session. I did get a Rockies promo 5×7 signed by him.
Cargo signing along side Jerry another really cool usher from Coors.
Next it was back to the Mountain Ranch Club for our next session and The Day of The Deuce happened as I said earlier I dubbed this day, day deuce which pretty much I was going to get a Tulo auto today. Troy Tulowitzki was the signer along with Josh Field you may remember Josh from the end of last season.
Tommy Field signing.
After we wandered a little while before our next session and we ran once again into Jim Tracey signing for fans.
Our next auto session was also in the Mtn Ranch Club and Dex was signing. Forgot who was in their with him.
We also had tickets to another session this hour and while heading there someone said would you guys like to take a photo with a few player so we said yeah that would be cool and the players were Matt Reynolds, Eric Young Jr. and D.J. Lemahieu. So it being EYJ and Matt we asked if they would do a running man. For those that don’t know me it is something I do everywhere I go and have been for about 15 years. So they agreed and we got these photos.
D.J. Lemahieu,Gary X, Matt Reynolds and Eric Young Jr.
Amy running man with the players.
Me with the players. No running man it came out blurry.
after that session there was still about an hour left before the end of Fan Fest so we headed down to the Rockies Club house.
He had Tommy John surgery in May of last season. He is expected back in May this year can’t wait to see him pitch again.
He can possible be the ace of this staff. With Chacin, Hammel and the others I am sure he will work for it.
Rex Brothers Doing a running man with Allanah X
Drew Pomeranz running man.
These players do not have to do this, but they do and I thank them for it. It shows how much fun this staff is.
Delta Cleary signing autographs with other prospects in the back ground.
Jhoulys Chacin signing autos. Hey look it Brian From The Springs!!
That’s it for Fan Fest 2012.
Here’s a few photos of things I acquired over this weekend.
Cargo, Tyler Colvin and Rex Brothers signed cards.
Willin Rosario, Jorge De La Rosa, Dexter Fowler and Tyler Chatwood
After the second day we were in the memorabilia
sale and they brought out a bunch of pins for free these are 6 of the 8 I got.
The 5×7 Promo photos
Josh Roenicke, Tommy Field,Chris Nelson Top row
Ramone Hernandez, Jason Hamell, Matt Lindstrom Middle
The photo by itself is the Todd Helton photo from earlier.
Todd Helton signed baseball.
looking forward to the season
50 Days til Ranter and I head to Scottsdale for Spring training.
See ya there!!!!!
IS IT APRIL YET?
